I had an incredible experience with Cyclepath. I planned on biking around Fife last weekend, and prior to that weekend, I had never ridden a road bike before, only hybrids or mountain bikes, but the owner advised me that the road bike might be more suitable for my journey, and he was completely right. I had an incredible time, and the bike was absolutely perfect for long distance biking. I got to see so many great sites cycling around Fife, and met so many nice people, including the owners of this shop. Let them know what you plan on doing, and they'll find the perfect bike for you and your trip. They're super helpful, and kind. Highly recommended.
Jim, the owner, was fantastic. He could not have been more responsive to my email request for bike rentals while we were in Scotland recently. He was attentive to every detail of the request - three different size bikes, attaching the correct pedals to each bike, delivering to our inn, with maps and tools, water bottles, helmets and repair kits (fortunately we didn't need the latter), checking up that everything was in order once we had the bikes. He was a pleasure to deal with, and I highly recommend using his company.

Highly recommend! Outstanding work and customer service from Alan on my touring tandem! We came in with a number of issues and Alan diagnosed and fixed while keeping in mind our traveling budget. He took the time to fine tune our front and rear derailers (among many other things) several times to get it just right. Alan went above and beyond any experience we've had at a bike shop while traveling. Can't recommend enough! Pricing was also a lot better than shops in Edinburgh.
Over near St. Andrews on holiday and had a fiddly mechanical. Took it to this shop and the staff were great and got it turned around for the next day! Very happy camper and would deformed recomend!

We got a lot of pleasure to visit the town and university. Have arrived independently by train from Edinburgh to Dundee and by bus to St. Andrews. Spent half of day here, but enough to get around and admire the charms of town. We had a snack in the cafeteria on the Market Street. I liked seaview The Scores and beach in St Andrews Pier. On our return way to the hotel we read a romantic story of the relationship between Prince William and Kate, who met in the university.
For some time I've been trying to acquire a book of the history of St Andrews - all of it not just the golf course as it goes back to Roman times therefore is of interest to me. Being there made me keener to learn more of this wonderful place. Can anyone help me with this ? Like who built the Swilcan bridge & when ? I live in Australia so getting there to make inquiries is a little difficult.
